President Trump officially announced tariff reductions on certain imports containing steel, aluminum and copper. The changes took effect June 8 and will remain in effect through Friday, December 31, 2027. On June 15, the U.S. Supreme Court declined an appeal by a group of importers, upholding a September 2025 federal appeals court decision that left in place Section 301 tariffs on goods from China that were increased during President Trump’s first term.
