About the ISEA 121 dropped objects standard
Once formally released, the standard will give manufacturers a consistent guideline for classification, test procedure and performance requirements for dropped object prevention. ISEA 121 includes four classes of solutions, all of which are safety solutions Bohmbach helped pioneer:
- Tool tethering
- Anchor attachments
- Tool attachments
- Containers
About the speaker
Bohmbach’s passion for at-heights safety solutions includes the emerging category of Objects at Heights. Not only has he developed innovative safety products and taught best practices to multiple industries since 2011, but he chairs the ISEA Standards Committee for Dropped Objects Solutions, is a member of the National Association of Tower Erectors, and sits on the PPE Subcommittee.
