FARGO, North Dakota — Border States is proud to partner with Down Home this Giving Hearts Day as a premier sponsor. Giving Hearts Day takes place on Thursday, February 8, and is a 24-hour event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.

Down Home empowers lives by furnishing homes for families and individuals emerging from homelessness. They believe a home is more than four walls and a roof, and it’s Down Home’s mission to turn moving in into moving home.

“Border States is 100% employee-owned, and part of the ownership culture involves a commitment to Do Good,” said Jeremey Welsand, CFO at Border States. “It’s one of our core objectives and how we operate, and we know we are successful when we positively impact lives and leave our world better than we found it. We value the lives and well-being of our neighbors and those who may not have the same resources we have.”

Early giving is open on the Giving Hearts Day website leading up to the event.
