BEMIDJI, M.N. (May 1, 2026) — Border States recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Bemidji, Minnesota, location.
The new branch — located at 2323 Cooperative CT NW — officially opened to customers in fall 2025, replacing Border States’ previous branch location in the city.
Highlights of the new facility include a customer-focused design with an enhanced City Desk experience, enabling employee-owners to better serve and respond to customers’ needs. In conjunction with Border States’ new Upper Midwest Distribution Center, slated to open in fall 2026, the Bemidji branch is poised to expand its capabilities for serving customers as a trusted distribution partner for the construction, industrial and utility markets.
“This new space just feels good to be in,” said Samantha Shearen, a City Desk Representative at the branch. “It’s brighter, more organized and set up to make our day-to-day easier — and that translates directly into better service for our customers.”
