EAU CLAIRE, W.I. (December 10, 2025) — Border States Eau Claire recently broke ground at the site of their new location – slated to open in late 2026.
The new facility will allow Border States to enhance customer experience with more indoor and outdoor storage capacity, expanding overall product availability and supporting their ability to stage materials for large projects. The additional space positions the branch for future growth into new service areas and will allow them to respond more effectively to future market demands.
The location will also offer an updated City Desk area and drive-through Will Call, enabling customers to place their orders in advance for pickup — saving them time and keeping them out of the elements.
Border States anticipates continued job growth in the new location, having already expanded from six to 24 employee-owners in their current location over the last 14 months. Their new facility signifies their commitment to being a part of the Eau Claire community, and strengthening partnerships with local businesses and contractors.
“This facility represents a strategic investment in the long-term growth of this market, broadening our capabilities and positioning us to reach new service areas,” said Ryan Imdieke, Area Director. “We’re proud to continue expanding our presence in Eau Claire, creating new job opportunities and strengthening our partnership with the local community.”
The branch hosted a groundbreaking ceremony with the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce on December 9, celebrating the start of construction.
