June may be National Safety Month, but Border States prioritizes safety every day of the year – for our customers, vendors and our fellow employee-owners.
Part of that priority is promoting training that not only delivers quality supply chain solutions, but the Border States mission and values that help everyone make it home safely at the end of the day.
On June 20, Border States will host a course on “Comprehensive Grounding and Protection of Communication Sites. The course covers the entire spectrum of grounding, from the basics of grounding, to the use of surge protective devices – all essential components of minimizing risks from transient spikes, noise and lightning.
Transtector will facilitate the one-day course, which reviews the key elements of communications site grounding and protection, with an emphasis on single-point grounding techniques. The class is especially ideal for a communications professional whose job responsibilities include working with AC and DC systems that power critical equipment.
The training will take place at Border States’ Fargo (ND) branch. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
