That’s the question being asked in the months leading up to the 2017 IDEAL National Championship, where the most elite electrical tradesmen in the nation come together to showcase their skills. The annual event is put on by IDEAL Industries to honor our nation’s electricians, as well as give them an chance to test their electrical skills and compete for more than $500,000 in cash and prizes. The 2017 qualifying round started March 13 and ends Oct. 1, with the main event set for Nov. 10-11 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Border States helps drive the event by hitting the road with its demo trucks to showcase IDEAL tools and other products at different qualifying events, which take place in cities across the U.S. In 2017, multiple Border States branches are hosting IDEAL qualifying events at their locations.
